Big Sky Straitsmokngun - 2006 APHA Stallion

 

We are proud to present Big Sky Straitsmokngun, an own son of Strait GunsmokeNsugar and double bred grandson of Strait From Texas!

 Gunner is a black and white splashed overo grandson of the legendary Strait From Texas.  Bred by the well known Fischer Farms located in South Dakota, Gunner made his way to Canada and we are very excited to have him as one of our APHA stallions.

 Gunner stands about 14.2hh and may finish at 14.3hh.  He has a very laid back temperment and is easy to handle.  His unique coloring and blues eyes make him very eyecatching. 

He has a wonderful temperament and is doing very well under saddle.  We did not breed him to any mares this year as we are concentrating on his training but we will be breeding him to a few select mares next year for 2011 foals.  We can't wait to see what he throws!
